Enlightenment is not the permanent absence of everything that is considered spiritually negative (pain, suffering, confusion, doubt, anger, addiction, the sense of individuality, and so forth), but rather, enlightenment is the absence of the one who cares about being enlightened.

I miss having someone to go on adventures with. We’d quickly grab whatever we figured was needed without too much thought and leave behind messy rooms, ugly furniture, television, etc and make sure that we had no destination in mind whatsoever. We once wandered for a whole day without ever knowing where we were going but never getting lost. I’ve tried it alone but always end up in the same places with the same purposes. It’s impossible to lose yourself when you’re alone.
